Spoilage Equates to Acres
Harvesting forage or high moisture grain at the proper moisture is perhaps the single most important management practice overlooked today. Proper moisture levels in research trials have demonstrated better digestibility of protein and energy, less spoilage, improved intakes and more dry mattered recovered leading to better gains, feed conversions and lower cost of gains.
